Candice Michelle apparently won’t be in the match because of her ankle injury.

What’s surprising is the inclusion of Santino Marella and Mae Young. We’re going to call what happens here. Santino comes out and Mae Young takes him out, with Candice Michelle’s help. Mae Young never enters the ring and therefore, doesn’t get thrown over the tope rope to certain doom.

If Trish were in this match, we would say it’s all her’s, but she’s apparently declined. In a recent appearence on CTV, where Trish called the weather, Trish’s hair was dyed black and she was quoted as saying that a one-time appearence satisfies her itch for wrestling. Some people say the Battle Royal was done with her in mind, so this may be a bad sign.

The next speculation is how Gail Kim will perform. Will she take it? The answer is: the last time Gail Kim came into WWE and won a big match- the Women’s title, the crowd turned on her and she went heel. WWE would be wise to have Gail Kim as the final four and give her time to shine, but ultimately give the belt to another Diva. There would be nothing lost in Gail Kim losing to Torrie Wilson.

We’ve thought about it and our prediction is someone WWE constantly undervalues and completely deserves this accolade: Mickie James!

WWE Diva Candice Michelle commented on the passing on Andrew “Test” Martin, confirmed reports of her ankle injury Candice and corrected reports of her contract coming up in October. Candice then fired back at people who doubt her, say she’s injury prone, and believe her career in WWE is over. Candice wrote:

“First and foremost I wanna offer my condolences, prayers, and love to the family and friends of Andrew “Test” Martin! This isn’t an easy thing to hear about someone in our community! I had alot of respect for him and am thankful for being blessed with knowing him!”

“I also just wanted to catch up with y’all since its been awhile since Ive been on Raw and there has been many speculations on why? Unfortunately I have been injured again! No its not my collarbone or anything in association with that! My collarbone is 100% healed! I was training really hard actually twice a day and while doing a flying punch on a bag that was held by a donut like apparatus I landed on it, rolled my ankle and fell on it! I have 2 torn ligaments one a 3rd degree sprain and the other a 2nd degree. However I’m healing really well and faster than what doctors expected! My injury was just a mishap unlike what others have heard or said, just a misfortunate event! After what I’ve been through I am a pro at this,haha!”

“Also, people have asked me if I’m leaving the wwe or that my contract is expiring in Oct. 2009, well this is so FALSE!!! First off my contract is not expiring this year and most importantly I have NO desire to leave WWE! I am still focused and gearing up for another return!”

“I have asked myself and prayed alot on why I have taken a back seat with another injury?! What I do know is what it feels like to be on the mountain top, and i know what the valley is like all to well, but i have news for all the Haters who have all these crazy reasons on why they think they know me and why my career at WWE is over…I am not unpacking my bags down in this valley but climbing out of it, even with one foot!lol! I have had a taste of the top so I know that the fight is worth it! I can preach and say x,y and z. However, this time ill just show you! I’m not too frail, injury prone, too old, nor have i lost my passion! Misfortune happens and that’s what makes me stronger and builds resiliency! So just know that weather you respect me, hate me, judge me, spread false accusations about me, this is my journey and I say when its over so hear me loud and clear I’m saying “ITS NOT OVER!!”

Candice Michelle was interviewed recently about her life after wrestling. Candice said she wanted to do some more modeling and acting post WWE. Candice’s contract is up this October and there is speculation that her signing on again is about 50/50.

Candice Michelle injured herself again at a house show, this time twisting her ankle. Candice was originally to be used at house shows in non-wrestling roles. Candice was instead in las Vegas this week shooting a new GoDaddy commercial with Vanessa Rousso and Danica Patrick, to air during the upcoming NBC National Heads-up Poker Championship and the 2009 NFL season.

WWE has all but confirmed that there are plans in the works for a 25-diva Battle Royal to celebrate the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania next month. WWE has only 18 active Divas on the roster and a few of them are still pretty green to be wrestling at a Main Event at WrestleMania, so expect WWE to fill out the vacent spots on the card with former WWE Divas. That means, for everyone out there who thought that the WWE Diva division peaked in 2003, maybe here’s your chance to watch that most excellent roster meet in the squared circle one more time.

Trish Stratus will most likely be involved. Torrie Wilson confirmed that WWE asked her to be part of the event. Torrie Wilson also confirmed in her myspace blog that former WWE diva Victoria has been contacted to wrestle. This may be a great way to have Gail Kim reintroduced. We would love to see Gail repeat her first WWE debute by winning the Rumble and begin feuding with Maryse for the Divas Championship.

There’ll be no keeping WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young from being there.

Women wrestling fans are speculating that Molly Holly, Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, Jazz, Amy “Lita” Dumas, Ashley Massaro and Chyna and others will be approached over the coming days. Since this is simply huge news for women wrestling, we will be actively reporting on this story over the days leading up to WrestleMania 25!

WWE Former Women’s Champion Candice Michelle has found her stride again on Monday’s RAW against Beth Phoenix. Although Candice didn’t win the match, she put on some decent offense. Some of the WWE Diva matches lately have come across as choreographed stuntwork versus actual wrestling. It’s nice to see a plethera of quality women matches on RAW lately. WWE Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly, Trish Stratus in her one-time appearance in Toronto and now Candice Michelle have all wrestled well against the Glamazon.

Speaking of which, too many chefs ruin the broth. The Glamazon is building an entourage around her, with first Santino and now her new interm, Rosa Mendes coming out to the ring with her and mugging her limelight. Mendes’s bouncing and handclapping and Santino’s trombone playing are seriously cramping the Glamazon’s style. How long is this going to last?
